
At around 1.20pm on Thursday, the emergency services received a report of an accident that occurred in Langertengaass. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a car had crashed into a wall.
At the site of the accident, the rescue services and the first responder (Samu) discovered an injured person. It was a 41-year-old man. In all likelihood, the driver had fainted at the wheel.
Despite an attempt to resuscitate him, the police confirmed that the 41-year-old died on the spot.
A psychological support group was present along with the Kayl fire brigade, an ambulance, and the Samu.
