During a speed check on Beaufort's route de Beaufort on Thursday, a driver was clocked at a bolting 107 km/h. He had to hand over his diver's license.

Another driver must also have been in quite the hurry: 90km/h is the official speed limit on the N28 between Oetrange and Bous but he was caught going 153km/h.

Police were able to pull over the car near Canach bridge. The driver received a speeding ticket and police revoked his driver's license on the spot.

Police also pulled over a car with broken headlights in Oetrange. The driver's papers were not in order and a breathalyser test also came back positive. His licence was suspended and the individual was driven home.
