On Tuesday, a motorist fled a roadside check but was later apprehended by police, who discovered a weapon in the vehicle.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of 5 November, when the driver ignored clear signals from police to stop at a roadside check. A chase ensued, and the vehicle was eventually stopped in Schieren.
Upon searching the vehicle, police found a revolver and ammunition, among other items. The driver was arrested at the request of the public prosecutor’s office.
