The Ministry of Mobility and the General Directorate for Tourism announced the launch of the fourth edition of the"Vëlosummer” event aimed at cyclists, which will run for a month from the end of July.

From 29 July until 29 August, both local cyclists and tourists will be able to make use of 12 circuits spread across 58 municipalities, representing a distance of around 500 kilometres.

This year sees four new circuits added to the line-up, with two crossing both the Belgian and French borders.

The event also offers a luggage transport service for travelling cyclists, as well as bike rental and accommodation with space to store equipment.

More information, in particular the temporary closure of certain roads to road traffic in order to reserve them for cyclists, is available on the official website.
