More than 30 protesters gathered outside the US Embassy in Luxembourg City on Tuesday morning to demonstrate against the war in Iran, calling for an immediate end to US and Israeli attacks on Iran and Lebanon.

A group of demonstrators gathered in front of the US Embassy in Luxembourg City on Tuesday morning to protest against the war in Iran, calling on the United States and Israel to cease their attacks on Iran and Lebanon.

The protest, organised by the non-profit Peace and Solidarity Platform, drew over 30 people to Boulevard Emmanuel Servais. The central message was a call to “stop the war of aggression on Iran.”

Marc Burggraf, speaking on behalf of the Peace and Solidarity Platform, argued that the actions of the US and Israel constitute a violation of international law. He noted that while both countries describe their military actions as preventative war, this concept has no standing in international law. Burggraf stressed that if conflict were truly unavoidable, it would require a mandate from the United Nations – a step neither the US nor Israel pursued.

The organisation also sought to clarify that its position is not rooted in religious or political allegiance. Burggraf stated that it is up to the Iranian people to determine their own government. While he acknowledged that, in his personal view, many in Iran and within the diaspora oppose the current government, he emphasised that this does not grant any outside party the right to impose change from abroad.
