The Grand Ducal Court has announced the schedule for a series of “joyous entries” – official visits by Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie following their ascension to the throne – to five municipalities across Luxembourg. Three visits are planned for this year, with two more to follow in 2027.

The couple will travel to Esch-sur-Alzette on 24 April, to Troisvierges on 10 July, and to Wormeldange on 2 October. The 2027 events will include stops in Beckerich and Mersch. Specific dates for those visits have not yet been finalised.

These official tours, first announced by the Grand Duke in his Christmas speech, are designed to foster a closer connection with residents across the country. Each municipality will coordinate its own event with a regional focus. Further details regarding programmes and timetables will be released by the Court in due course.

Separately, as part of National Day observances, the Grand Ducal couple will visit Differdange on the eve of this year’s celebrations and Ettelbruck on National Day’s Eve in 2027, before returning to Luxembourg City for the traditional torchlight procession.
