The road between Grundhof and Beaufort was closed on Saturday afternoon for almost two hours following an incident involving a cyclist.
According to the police, the man suffered a heart attack and died on the spot despite efforts to revive him.
A police patrol, Samu, ambulances and firefighters were mobilised but could not do anything to save the cyclist.
