The district administrator further conveyed his hopes that the passage could be completely reopened for all traffic in the not too distant future.
CSV president Frank Engel already sent a letter to German interior minister Seehofer to plea for a complete reopening of all passages with the Grand Duchy. A similar letter was posted to the Prime Minister of Belgium.
