Most of the Grand Duchy's municipalities are currently distributing fifty masks to every resident from the age of 16 on. The same operation has been underway for cross-border workers since 11 May. Nonetheless, authorities have registered fewer people taking advantage of the service than expected, leaving more masks in stock. Those who have taken up the opportunity however, have shown great appreciation for the gesture.
In case any cross-border employee has not been sent a voucher by the Luxembourgish government, they can still pick up their masks by presenting their social security identification. Around 200 soldiers have cooperated with postal services over the past two weeks on twelve different sites.
