The project’s main goal is that everyone in Luxembourg will be able to get tested for the novel virus. Testing stations could be brought to life across the country in this context.
According to information obtained by RTL, students and teachers could be among the first to benefit from extensive testing. The project would allow officials to gain a better understanding about the spreading of the virus and, depending on the outcome, allow the government to lift further confinement measures.
The tests will reportedly be carried out on a voluntary basis. Large-scale testing could also trigger further research projects that would shed light on the mechanism behind the virus’s transmission.
