The collective leave in the construction sector begin this Friday, with sanitation, heating and air conditioning joining them on Monday 2 August. It ends on 22 August.
Due to the unusual weather, there may be additional or late exemptions.
There have been a total of 223 exemption requests so far, with 148 of them approved: 47 work sites at schools, 22 at factories and 79 for urgent works.
37 requests were denied, and 38 requests were made for sectors that don't fall under the collective holiday and do not need approval.
