For the last few years, staff at the care home in Wiltz have organised a New Year’s Eve party for the elderly residents, accompanied by music and a good atmosphere.
The residents make the most of the party, enjoying the company and the opportunity to dance a little. This ensures that no one spends the New Year alone in their room. The staff serve food and drink throughout the evening and ensure all residents are comfortable. This year’s party was no exception, as residents took to the dancefloor all the way to midnight, and no doubt some spent a little longer in bed on 1 January.
