An increasing number of refugees are expected to face a challenging winter in Bosnia. Between 5,000 and 6,000 people are travelling through the country, while another 12,000 are stuck.
Dudelange residents flocked to the Hall Fondouq on Saturday to give away clothes for the refugees. The event was held under the CovidCheck system, but that did not prevent a great number of volunteers from showing up.
All collected clothes will eventually be loaded on to a lorry destined for Bosnia and scheduled to leave the Grand Duchy on 20 December.
