Carole Muller, CEO of the 'Fischer' bakery chain, is the new president of the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce (CLC). She succeeds Fernand Ernster, who becomes vice-president.

The new president was appointed on Tuesday at the CLC board meeting. Muller stressed that the Confederation "needs a smart and determined governance to face the current crises and structural problems that heavily affect the trade, transport, and services sectors," according to the CLC press release.
