Cargolux confirmed in a statement on Facebook that the left landing gear of one of its Boeing 747-8F cargo planes collapsed while the aircraft was stationary at Luxembourg airport. No one was injured in the incident. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the malfunction.
As a precaution, Cargolux has announced that it will conduct thorough inspections of its entire Boeing fleet before any upcoming flights. The company emphasised that safety remains its highest priority.
