Shortly after midday, three cars and a caravan were involved in a collision on the A3 motorway towards Luxembourg City.
At the time of writing, both the right-hand lane and the hard shoulder were blocked by the wreckage of the caravan. Traffic jams were said to be building up all the way back to the border and to Zoufftgen.
Reports suggest one person was transported to hospital by ambulance. Further details are not yet available.
