Immediately after the collision, one of the two vehicles caught fire, which was quickly brought under control by the fire brigade on site.
The ambulance services were also present and assisted the three injured. The severity of the injuries is yet to be determined, as is the reason behind the collision.
The road was closed to all traffic for almost two hours. The fire brigades of Mamer, Dippach and Kehlen were called in.
