The police are looking for witnesses. Anyone who might have seen something in the area between 4 and 5pm on Saturday is asked to call the police on 113 or by emailing spj.es@police.etat.lu.
The fire was attended by the fire brigades from Sandweiler and Luxembourg City. They found a person sleeping in the house, who was removed uninjured and sent to hospital for a checkup. An enquiry has been launched to investigate the exact circumstances of the fire.
