According to recent data from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC), approximately one in ten residents has fallen victim to burglary or attempted burglary.
On the afternoon of 12 March, a burglary occurred at a detached house on Rue Hicht in Consdorf, prompting the deployment of forensic police to the scene for investigation.
Later that evening, another break-in was reported at a detached house on Rue Regioun in Heffingen. The intruder was startled by a resident and fled the scene. Despite immediate search efforts, the perpetrator has yet to be apprehended.
Authorities have launched investigations into both incidents.
