At approximately 2.20pm, a young man with short black hair, dressed in dark clothing and wearing white gloves, managed to enter a residential house on Op der Knupp street in Gosseldange. However, he fled the scene after being caught off guard by the residents. Authorities have launched investigations into this burglary.
Shortly after, at around 4.30pm, another incident occurred in Mamer. A young man, posing as an employee of an electrical company inspector, attempted to gain entry to a single-family house. After the man left, the victim discovered that valuable jewellery had been stolen. This case is also under investigation by the authorities.
