The intruder gained access to a house on Rue de l’Hôpital in Esch on Monday, stealing valuables including a smartwatch, headphones and a wallet.
Fortunately, police were able to catch the thief and return the stolen items. The burglar was brought before magistrates on Tuesday, according to the latest police report.
On Thursday, several cars were broken into across Luxembourg, including one parked on Rue du Fort Olisy in Clausen. The thief succeeded in stealing a rucksack. Another vehicle was targeted on Rue St Ulric in the Grund overnight, with cash and two sunglasses going missing. Police have opened investigations into both incidents.
