Five people got involved in the fight on the train at around 11.20pm.
A verbal altercation quickly escalated. Two men sprayed pepper spray in the faces of three other passengers, the Volksfreund states, citing police reports.
The three affected people were treated in hospital.
Police launched an inquiry into grievous bodily harm by the two spraying passengers.
