
The ALVA warned that the label of these ice creams does not warn of the presence of nuts inside the product. In addition, the ice cream in question might contain traces of other allergens such as soy or peanuts.
The warning concerns Namur’s mocha ice cream in 110, 130 and 450ml tubs as well as in 2.5 and 5 litre tubs. All batches with the use-by date of 8 April 2024 are affected.
People who are not allergic or intolerant to these substances are not affected by the recall and can consume the product without restriction or hesitation.
The product is for sale in the following stores: Auchan, Cactus, Delhaize, and Namur. Further retailers offering the ice cream cannot be excluded, the ALVA further warned.
