A physician working at the veterinary clinic in Bereldange was harassed and assaulted by a man on Saturday night. A Facebook post later notified people that the clinic would be closed overnight as a consequence.
Police have since confirmed that an attack took place at the clinic. Although the vet in question was not injured during the incident, she suffered a shock. The perpetrator is said to have left the clinic after the attack.
Police were unable to say whether or not the culprit had been arrested, but apparently his identity is known to the authorities.
