Road safetyBereldange speed camera to become operational on Wednesday

RTL Today
From tonight, make sure to watch out for the new speed camera in Bereldange.

First put into service for a test phase on 14 June, the new speed camera will start flashing for real as of Wednesday, 16 August.

Located at the entrance to Bereldange, where the speed limit is 50 km/h, the camera measures speed in both directions.

“A tolerance of 3km/h (below 100km/h) and 3% (above 100km/h) will be deducted from the measured value,” says the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works. A reminder that anyone caught travelling over the speed limit will be penalised.
