In a joint effort to prevent fly-tipping, the environment administration and the customs agency conducted a routine check on the A3 near Dudelange between 21 and 23 March.

Authorities stopped and checked a total of 83 vans and lorries loaded with debris over the course of the three days. They found 28 violations across 22 vehicles, for which fines were issued. Documents were not properly filled out in some cases, while others lacked authorisation altogether.

The routine check was completed in the context of the national inspection plan.
