At least four, potentially five, cars were involved in a collision between the Bettembourg interchange and the Livange exit on the A3 on Tuesday morning.
The authorities specified that the vehicles were blocking the left-hand lane, limiting traffic to one lane. This caused traffic jams stretching all the way back to the A31 in France and the A13 connecting at the Bettembourg interchange.
Just before 9am, the ACL confirmed the accident had been cleared.
