The young victim was approached by the muggers on Rue de la Gare and had their jewellery ripped off from around their neck.
According to police, a search for the culprits resulted in the identification of four individuals, one of whom was found with two stolen gold chains. Both stolen items were confiscated and returned to their original owner.
The suspect was arrested by orders of the public prosecutor’s office and brought before magistrates on Sunday morning.
