The Ministry of Health has announced that although some pharmacies already performed rapid tests throughout last week, the official starting phase of the project begins today.
The antigen rapid tests display a result within half an hour. Negative tests will be certified and can thus be used for a visit to a restaurant, for instance.
The tests are not free of charge and should not be used by people who suspect that they may have been infected with Covid-19.
