Luxembourg economists and analysts observed a 0,2% drop in inflation between August and September 2019.
The decrease can partly be attributed to a fall in travel prices.
As a matter of fact, it seems that travel expenses play a large role in the final monthly result. With the end of the school holidays, package travel prices recorded a 6,1% decrease, while airline tickets declined by 21,4% compared to August.
