The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has issued a new recall for "Nutrilon PROfutura 1" powdered milk. The product had already been recalled in February, but a distribution chain error led to it reappearing on the market.
ALVA reported the issue on Wednesday. The recall affects the infant formula due to possible contamination with cereulide, a toxin produced by the microorganism Bacillus cereus. The product was sold in multiple stores across Luxembourg.
The recall follows a global withdrawal of various powdered milk products in early 2026.
