
The global oil market is experiencing significant turbulence, driven by renewed concerns over supply disruptions, sluggish growth in US shale oil production, and a steadfast stance adopted by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
The impact of these factors has been swift. Overnight, fuel prices surged across the board.
Diesel prices climbed by 4.2 cents per litre, reaching €1.599 per litre.
Similarly, petrol prices saw an increase, with SP95 rising by 2.5 cents to €1.653 per litre, and SP98 climbing by 2.5 cents to €1.886 per litre.
Additionally, heating oil prices for 10ppm also saw an uptick, rising by 3.4 cents to €1.052 per litre.
