A current rumour states that an athlete of the Luxembourgish Olympic delegation in Paris has been ignoring the doping regulations. On Monday, a clear refutation was published by the ALAD.

ALAD has now reacted to the rumour and the agency has specified that it does NOT concern an athlete from the Luxembourgish delegation.

However, there is still an ongoing procedure about an athlete who has failed to show up for their doping test three times during a period of twelve months. This was confirmed by Loïc Hoscheit, the director of ALAD. The name of the suspected person will only be made public after a verdict has been reached by the CDD, the Luxembourgish council of doping discipline.
