EttelbruckAgricultural Fair open for visitors until Sunday

In 2020, the Agricultural Fair ("Foire Agricole") had to take place exclusively online due to the pandemic. This year, the event takes place in real life as well as digitally.

A total of 170 exhibitors are participating this year. Most notably, the Fair Mëllech cooperative, which is fighting for fair milk prices for farmers, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Visitors and participants have to adhere to strict sanitary measures. A maximum of 2,000 people are allowed to be on the site at any given time. Every visitor has to pass the CovidCheck, i.e. negative test result, vaccinated, or cured. Rapid tests are, however, also available at the entrance. In order to avoid queues, tickets are exclusively sold online.

170 Exposante si bis e Sonnden op der Plaz
Zejoert war d’Foire Agricole wéinst der Corona-Pandemie nëmmen digital. Dëst Joer gëtt se awer esouwuel physesch ewéi och digital organiséiert.

Among the 170 exhibitors are food producers, machinery dealers, as well as animal breeders.

The Agriculture Fair boosts a sort of “hybrid programme” this year, i.e. events are taking place over a variety of different channels. People can, for instance, place orders for local produce and products.

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited the Fair on Friday afternoon with their son Prince Charles for the official inauguration. The event takes place until Sunday and is open between 9 am and 7 pm.
