Haagen states that he and Minister of Health Paulette Lenert moved “swiftly” after the Association of Doctors and Dentists (AMMD) resigned from the administrative council of the eSanté Agency in late October. The ministers ordered the representatives of the state on the council to formally request that the AMMD appoint two new members.

Haagen provided this information in two replies to parliamentary questions submitted by the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) and the Democratic Party (DP) respectively. The Minister further stated that the AMMD is still represented in the various task forces and that the eSanté Agency is still operational. Regarding the planned improvements to the electronic healthcare record (DSP), Haagen said that artificial intelligence will be used, among other things, to make it easier for patients and medical professionals to use the DSP.
