The accident occurred on the N14 in Heffingen at around 3.25pm. A driver lost control of their vehicle, resulting in a head-on collision with a tree. Among those injured were one adult and two children.
Emergency responders despatched a rescue helicopter to provide assistance at the scene. The road was temporarily closed to traffic but has since been reopened, as confirmed by the police.
