At around 3pm on Thursday, two cars were involved in a collision near Hesperange, travelling towards the Croix de Gasperich. Both vehicles blocked the left-hand lane, leading to several kilometres of traffic building up between Kirchberg and the southern interchange around the capital.
One person was injured as a result of the collision. Elsewhere, two cars crashed on the CR306 between Vichten and Bissen at around 2.30pm, injuring one person.
