The works are part of the ongoing expansion of the A3 motorway, for which the National Roads Administration will install new signage panels and carry out works at the Livange interchange. The A3 will subsequently be closed between the Gasperich and Bettembourg interchanges over the weekend from 20 to 23 March 2026.
To avoid disrupting weekday traffic, the works will take place over the weekend. Several slip roads and entry and exit ramps will be affected, and traffic will be diverted via other motorways and national roads. The Berchem service area will also be inaccessible during this time.
Traffic congestion is expected over the weekend due to these diversions.
