Two high-value Porsches were stolen during a violent robbery at a Luxembourg dealership on Monday, culminating in a cross-border police chase that led to two arrests and the recovery of the vehicles in France.

A car dealership in eastern Luxembourg was the target of a violent robbery on 27 October 2025, resulting in the theft of two high-end Porsche sports cars, which were later recovered in France following a police chase.

The incident occurred in broad daylight when a group of individuals entered the dealership, using verbal and physical threats to intimidate employees and secure the keys to two vehicles: a Porsche 911 Dakar and a Porsche RS Spyder. The thieves successfully located the cars and fled the scene within minutes.

Authorities were immediately alerted, and French police were enlisted for support. Later that day, at approximately 6pm, the two stolen Porsches were located in the Linkling industrial zone in Thionville.

Units from the French Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) quickly intervened, leading to a pursuit that ended with the interception of both vehicles. Two individuals in their twenties were arrested at the scene. However, the driver of the second Porsche managed to escape on foot, prompting a localised manhunt.

The investigation is now being led by French police, in close collaboration with Luxembourg authorities. A few hours after the initial chase, the second stolen vehicle was located in a French trailer park.

A European Arrest Warrant has been issued for the primary suspect, who remains at large. His extradition to Luxembourg is anticipated in the coming days.
