The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a series of accidents between Friday evening and Saturday morning, resulting in four injuries across the country.

On Friday evening, emergency services were called to Limpertsberg after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the Rue Michel Lentz shortly before 7pm.

An ambulance, a fire engine, and emergency medical responders attended the scene. The condition of the injured person has not yet been disclosed.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, a car crash on the CR162 left two people injured between Alzingen and Hassel. The accident, which happened shortly before 1am, involved two vehicles.

Emergency services confirmed that two ambulances, two fire engines, and the Luxembourgish emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, signalling a major mobilisation of resources.

According to initial reports, at least one person sustained serious injuries. The exact circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.

Shortly before 7am, another person was left injured in a collision between two cars on the Dudelange motorway between Livange and the Croix de Bettembourg.
