In the past week, the number of Covid-19 infections have been declining in the Grand Duchy.

Between 20 and 26 October, the Health Ministry officially recorded 155 Covid-19 cases, roughly 90 fewer than the previous week. Virus concentrations in wastewater treatment plants have also decreased.

Influenza continues to circulate at low levels, despite a slight increase from 19 to 31 cases in week 43.

Infections with the RSV virus remain at very low levels.

Long-Covid coordination point for patients relocated

The coordination point for Long-Covid patients will be moved on 1 November from the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) to the Centre Hospitalier Neuro-Psychiatrique in Ettelbruck.

Patients can be referred there by their general practitioner. Requests must be signed by the doctor and sent by post to the coordination unit. The care pathway for patients will remain unchanged.
