Police in the capital were alerted to a brawl at a petrol station on Thursday evening.
At 8.40pm, a fight broke out at a petrol station on Route de Thionville, after two men began behaving aggressively towards members of staff. When police arrived on the scene, one of the attackers refused to cooperate and insulted the officers.
Both men were taken to the nearest police station, where they conducted breathalyser tests as one of the individuals had driven to the petrol station. The man was found to have driven whilst under the influence and lost his licence as a result. He was held in custody overnight.
