A spate of traffic collisions kept Luxembourg emergency crews busy on Thursday, with four accidents reported in just over three hours.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to four separate road accidents within a three-hour period on Thursday afternoon.

The first incident occurred just before 1pm on Avenue Guillaume in the Belair neighbourhood, involving a collision between a car and a bicycle. The cyclist received treatment from paramedics and firefighters from Luxembourg City before being taken to A&E.

An hour later, at 2pm, a two-car collision on Rue de Hollerich resulted in two injuries. The capital's fire brigade and two ambulances were despatched to the scene.

A similar accident took place at 2.50pm on Route de Diekirch in Moersdorf, where two people were injured. Emergency crews from Larochette, Nordstad, and Bettendorf attended to those involved.

The final crash was reported at approximately 4.15pm between Kirchberg and the Cents tunnel. One person was treated at the scene for their injuries by firefighters and paramedics from the capital.
