Luxembourg artist collective Richtung22 has mocked incoming US ambassador Stacey Feinberg by redirecting her namesake domain to China's Foreign Ministry website, in response to her recent criticism of Luxembourg's stance on China.

Luxembourg artist collective Richtung22 has taken a jab at Stacey Feinberg, the future US ambassador to Luxembourg, ahead of her arrival in the Grand Duchy. In a curious case of misdirection, the collective has acquired the rights to the internet domain staceyfeinberg.com, using it to redirect users to the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Feinberg recently drew criticism for accusing Luxembourg of being "naive" with regard to China, after which Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel expressed confidence that Trump's diplomat nominee will change her mind once settled in. According to online records, Richtung22 already purchased the internet domain on 13 March 2025, and the rights are set to expire after exactly one year.

Richtung22 announced the prank on their Instagram page: "Now is your turn, dear readers of Hannerland. Pay attention, you really can learn something here." The post then goes on to direct readers to the domain staceyfeinberg.com, which contrary to expectation does not land you on any page run by the embassy or the future ambassador, but rather on the homepage of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Though Richtung22 claims that Feinberg's page on Turning Point USA (TPUSA) would also lead to the same domain, it appears that the connection has been removed in the meantime. TPUSA, the conservative youth movement founded by right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, has held significant sway over the policies pursued by the Trump administration.

Richtung22 is an artist – and sometimes activist – collective producing satirical content in various media forms. "Through monuments, art actions, campaigns, and many small initiatives, we strive to bring creative critique and spark important discussions", as the collective describes their ambitions.

The group also publishes a satirical paper called 'Hannerland' ('Back Country'), mentioned in the post above.

According to the US Embassy in Luxembourg, Feinberg has a diverse background in business, media, sports, and entertainment. She is the founder of 33 Capital LLC, has served as a venture capital judge and speaker, and began her career at Bob Woolf Associates, a prominent sports and entertainment law firm launched by her father.
