The big day is fast approaching: the day of the royal succession, where among other concerts and performances, 350 drones will put on a coordinated aerial performance.

The event will be accompanied by a series of concerts, performances, and special appearances, including a special drone show. Instead of the usual fireworks, 350 drones will light up the night sky for about eight minutes on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

The show has been specially crafted for this historic moment by the artist duo Stéphanie Rollin and David Brognon. Drawing inspiration from royal symbols, they designed a unique aerial performance for the occasion.

RTL visited Sint-Truiden in Belgium to meet the artists and the Dutch Drone Show team, who provided an exclusive preview of the spectacular drone performance.
