Drivers faced fines and point deductions during a Thursday morning police check in Differdange, where 14 violations were recorded.
Luxembourg police conducted a large-scale traffic control operation on Rue Woiver in Differdange on Thursday morning, resulting in 14 recorded violations of the Highway Code.
In once case, a group of eight individuals all failed to wear seatbelts, including one driver and seven underage passengers. The driver was fined €145 and received a two-point penalty on their driving licence.
In five separate instances, drivers were issued warnings and fines for administrative irregularities related to their vehicle documents. These infractions involved three tax stickers, one roadworthiness certificate, and one registration document.
Additionally, one motorist was fined €145 and received a two-point penalty for transporting a child without a legally required child safety seat.
