
Seven people were injured in a series of five separate traffic accidents across Luxembourg on Thursday evening and early Friday morning, according to the emergency services.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a series of five traffic accidents on Thursday evening, resulting in injuries to seven individuals.
The incidents began shortly before 5.30pm with a collision involving two lorries and a car on the slip road connecting the A13 and A4 motorways. The crash, which required response teams from Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange along with an ambulance, left three people injured.
Approximately thirty minutes later, a two-car accident in Belair injured one person.
This was followed by a single-vehicle incident around 7pm on the CR118 between Christnach and Larochette, which also resulted in one injury.
Later in the evening, just before 10pm, emergency services from Tandel and Nordstad treated another injured person following an accident in Bettel.
The series of incidents concluded in the early hours of Friday morning, when two CGDIS teams were dispatched to a crash on the RN12 between Bridel and Rollingergund at the entrance to the capital at around 1am.
