Police in Luxembourg made arrests for drug offences and apprehended a drink driver during a series of incidents on Thursday night.
Luxembourg police reported several incidents from Thursday night, including arrests for drug dealing and a case of drink driving.
In Luxembourg City, officers on patrol along Rue du Fort Elisabeth identified two individuals suspected of carrying drugs. A search revealed small quantities of narcotics, leading to their arrest. Upon arrival at the police station, a further search uncovered additional drugs, which were seized. Both suspects were presented to an examining magistrate.
In a separate incident in Ettelbruck, police on Avenue des Alliés stopped a vehicle with fogged-up windows. The driver was found to be intoxicated and driving without a licence. Authorities issued the motorist a driving ban and a fine.
