With the accession of Grand Duke Guillaume in October, Luxembourg's official symbols will be updated, beginning with a new royal monogram designed to mark the new reign.
Luxembourg will introduce a new royal monogram on 3 October 2025, coinciding with the change of throne. The stylised "H" of Grand Duke Henri will be replaced by a "G" for the future Grand Duke Guillaume.
Designed by graphic artist Yolande Kaiser, the new monogram features two mirrored "G"s beneath the traditional Luxembourgish crown, creating a design described as modern, decorative, and historically inspired. Kaiser's work is based on a historical analysis of previous monograms and adheres to the court's official graphic charter.

The symbol will be rolled out across official institutions, appearing on the uniforms of the army, police, CGDIS, customs, and prison officers. Luxembourg's national side of the euro coins will also be updated to feature a portrait of Guillaume, though this change is not expected until 2026.
As the official symbol of the new Grand Duke, the monogram is effectively a "logo" and is protected. Its use will require official permission.
