The new royal foundation will take over duties from the current Grand Ducal charitable organisation.

Amid preparations for the coronation festivities, the Grand Ducal Palace is reorganising itself to admit the new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess. This includes a new monogram for the new Grand Duke Guillaume, but also structural reorganisation.

As part of this, a new foundation has been launched under the name Grand-Duc Guillaume et de la Grande-Duchesse Stéphanie, with the new Grand Duchess to take over the presidency.

The foundation will resume activities carried out by the current Grand Ducal charitable organisation, which supports vulnerable individuals in Luxembourg. Another key focal point will be the inclusion of people with disabilities, at work, school, and in social or cultural settings.

The new board of directors for the foundation will include the new Grand Ducal couple, as well as the court's chairman of the administration of property, Norbert Becker.
